Victor may throw that in Nikki’s face on Thursday’s episode and make it clear that she won’t be returning to the company she loved.
Nikki will eventually struggle with some vision trouble on top of her persistent headaches, but she’ll downplay things and insist on supporting Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) at his rehab meeting.
Nikki will be there for Nick as he gathers his courage and tells his story to the other addicts in the room.
It’ll be hard for Nick to confess his issues to the group, but he’ll ultimately let the floodgates of his emotions open up.
Unfortunately, Nikki’s headaches and vision problems are only going to get worse.
It won’t be long until Nikki decides it’s time to see a doctor, so she’ll get examined and face a scary diagnosis by the end of the week.
In the meantime, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will spill a secret during a conversation with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
That may involve her official decision to accept the chief of staff position at Genoa City Memorial Hospital and any complicated feelings she might have about it.
Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) has assured Stephanie that he’s forgiven her and wants her in town, but Stephanie might worry he’s just being a good son and telling her what she wants to hear.
Nate might push Stephanie to trust Holden on this and embrace the job since she’ll be good at it.
This could also lead to Nate admitting he’s given the idea of returning to medicine more thought.
