After surviving his medical ordeal, he thanked Cane for saving his life and acknowledged that he would never forget the sacrifice. However, hearing that Cane still loved Lily, Malcolm warned him that Lily would make her own choices, but if Cane hurt her again, there would be consequences.

Malcolm’s homecoming also gave him the opportunity to reconnect with Holden. The two began building the father-son relationship they never had, sharing stories, joking about sports, and discussing Holden’s uncertain professional future. Malcolm encouraged Holden to earn the Winters family’s trust and even offered to advocate on his behalf.

Malcolm also shared meaningful moments with Stephanie, choosing gratitude over resentment for the years they had lost and embracing the unexpected family they had discovered. By week’s end, Malcolm had strengthened bonds with Lily, Holden, Stephanie, and even Claire.

Lily Bets on Cane’s Redemption

Fresh off receiving Chancellor from Victor, Lily made the controversial decision to install Cane as CEO while maintaining ownership herself. She explained that Winters already demanded enough of her and Devon’s attention, and she believed Cane deserved an opportunity to rebuild his life.

Malcolm questioned whether Cane deserved Lily’s trust. Billy strongly objected to her decision, arguing that Lily’s lingering feelings were clouding her judgment and warned it was only a matter of time before Cane screwed her over again.

Lily acknowledged that Cane’s recent actions had damaged many relationships, but she also believed the man she once loved still existed beneath the mistakes. Billy told Lily that man was gone forever. Regardless, Cane accepted the position and promised he would never hurt Lily again.

The Shadow Room Opens Its Doors

While Noah and Sienna celebrated the grand opening of Genoa City’s version of The Shadow Room, the club also reopened old wounds.

Audra and Holden both experienced flashbacks tied to traumatic events from the original Shadow Room in Los Angeles. Sienna’s obvious dislike of Audra led to awkward interactions, and Sally noticed the tension between them. Claire and Holden embraced the chance to make new, happier memories together, while Sharon toasted Noah’s accomplishment.

Elsewhere in the club, Danny announced plans to retire from touring and settle permanently in Genoa City with Christine. Daniel had mixed feelings about Phyllis escaping legal consequences, while Christine hoped Phyllis had finally learned from her mistakes.

Romance also filled the dance floor as Claire and Holden danced together, Danny and Christine shared a special moment, and Lily and Cane publicly embraced their renewed connection and shared a passionate kiss on the dance floor.

Billy and Adam Confront the Past

A chance encounter between Billy and Adam led to one of the week’s most painful conversations. What began as barbs over drinks at Society turned into an emotional discussion about Delia.

Adam admitted that not a day passed without thinking about the accident that took Billy’s daughter. Billy struggled to believe Adam’s remorse was genuine and accused him of seeking absolution. Adam insisted he wasn’t looking for forgiveness and revealed that he had recently dreamed about Delia.

Billy’s grief remained as raw as ever. He warned Adam never to mention Delia again before walking away. Later, Adam recounted the exchange to Chelsea. She reminded him that Billy’s pain would never disappear because losing a child changed everything. Adam acknowledged that if Connor had been taken from him, he would never recover either.

Victor’s Dangerous Gamble

Victor set an elaborate plan into motion by forcing Matt Clark into service. Despite Matt’s insistence that he wanted to leave his violent past behind, Victor gave him an impossible choice: cooperate by infiltrating Cane’s life or face prison. Matt reluctantly agreed.

Victor ordered Matt to befriend Cane, gain his trust, and report back on everything Cane did. Nick objected to forcing Matt into old patterns, while Adam questioned whether exposing the family to additional danger was wise. Victor remained convinced that Matt’s redemption could only be proven through action.

The plan officially launched when Adam and Victoria introduced Matt to Cane. Although Adam coached him beforehand, Matt abandoned the script entirely. Instead of undermining Cane, he openly admired Cane’s business accomplishments and engaged him in genuine conversation. To everyone’s surprise, Cane agreed that perhaps they could continue talking over drinks one day.

Nick Takes Ownership of His Recovery

Nick reached a major milestone in his recovery journey. Accompanied by Nikki, he attended a meeting and chose to speak publicly for the first time.

Through tears, Nick admitted that addiction had shattered his assumptions about who addicts were. He acknowledged overdosing in front of both Victor and Noah and confessed that letting down the people he loved haunted him daily.

Nick vowed to remain accountable and committed himself to changing for his own sake as much as anyone else’s. Afterward, Sharon, Noah, and Nikki rallied around him, promising to support his recovery and help him recognize potential triggers moving forward.

Phyllis Gets an Unexpected Opportunity

Victor shocked Phyllis by offering her ownership of what remained of Arabesque. Rather than seeking revenge, Victor explained that saving Nick’s life had earned his gratitude. He admired Phyllis’ willingness to challenge him and believed she could rebuild the struggling company.

Though suspicious of Victor’s motives, Phyllis ultimately accepted. Lauren agreed to stand beside her once again, and together they decided to transform Arabesque into a fresh start.

Phyllis also shared a meaningful conversation with Sharon, reflecting on the trauma she still carried and her hopes of repairing relationships with Summer and Daniel.

Nikki’s Health Scare Intensifies

As Victor’s decisions continued to strain their already fractured marriage, Nikki became increasingly alarmed by his secrecy. She confronted him over Matt’s presence at the ranch, questioned his decision to give Chancellor away, and she figured out that Victor had promised Chancellor to Lily long before their marriage fell apart.

Victor refused to explain himself. During their argument, Nikki was suddenly overcome by severe pain. She struggled with blinding headaches, blurred vision, and difficulty walking. Although Victor urged her to contact her doctor, Nikki rejected his concern and blamed much of her stress on him.

Diane Jenkins | The Young and the Restless | CBS

Next week, Diane returns to a rude awakening while Traci holds Patty accountable. Jack and Kyle uncover a new mystery, Nikki presses Lily about Chancellor, and Jack takes matters into his own hands. Devon warns Cane as tensions over Chancellor continue to escalate, suggesting Lily’s decision could have far-reaching consequences for the Winters family and beyond.
