The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, June 15, indicate that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will get some bad news since she’ll be stuck under Dr. Laurence Markham’s (Jere Burns) control.
At a house she doesn’t recognize, Diane will seem groggy as she calls out to see if anyone’s there.
Diane won’t be able to make sense of the situation and will find that she can’t get the door unlocked.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will talk to Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) about Diane’s disappearance, so that’ll give Jack a chance to insist Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) must be responsible.
At the park café, Y&R spoilers say Patty will get confirmation from Dr. Markham that everything went like clockwork.
After Patty gives the doc an envelope of money under the table, he’ll promise to deliver her requested proof within the hour.
Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will alert Jack to this sketchy Patty interaction over the phone after she stumbles upon it.
Once Traci confronts Patty, she’ll learn the man is Dr. Laurence Markham and that he was her doctor at her previous facility.
Jack will eventually show up to accuse Patty of being behind Diane’s vanishing act, but Patty will continue to act like Diane must’ve run off.
Once Jack and Traci return to the Abbott mansion, they’ll dig around online and see that Dr. Laurence Markham’s credentials seem to check out.
However, Traci and Jack will suspect trouble’s brewing as they try to figure out what Patty’s cooked up.
Patty will arrive with a pic that Dr. Markham texted of Diane seemingly drugged into slumber.
Jack will hear a bogus story about Patty finding Diane in the middle of a breakdown and arranging to have her sent to a clinic with Dr. Markham’s help.
Patty will push Jack to move on with her instead since Diane might have to spend years recovering.
Plus, Patty will argue that Diane won’t be the same woman when she comes out, so she’ll think Jack needs to go ahead and let go.
After Patty hints about Jack not wanting harm to come to Diane, he’ll balk over her blackmailing him into a romance.
Back at the house Diane’s been stashed in, she’ll meet.
Dr. Laurence Markham and learn he’s a psychiatrist who supposedly discovered her having a breakdown in her car.
Diane will insist she doesn’t remember that and will question why Dr. Markham didn’t call the police.
Dr. Markham will contend that he did and that they got in touch with Jack, who blamed himself for Diane’s ordeal and agreed Dr. Markham should try to make her well.
Diane will struggle to buy all this and will mention finding some of Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) books nearby.
Dr. Markham will invite Diane to read whatever she likes and hint that she could be there a while depending on his assessment.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Diane will ultimately demand to head to a real clinic instead, but Dr. Markham has apparently been paid to keep Diane right where she is!
