🚹 Trouble is erupting inside the Dobbs household as Fiz reaches breaking point and delivers a warning that could change everything đŸ’„ With emotions running dangerously high and tensions spiraling behind closed doors, fans are bracing for a family showdown no one saw coming. As hidden truths begin to surface, one question is taking over Weatherfield tonight: has Fiz just saved her family
or pushed it beyond repair? 👀

Coronation Street has seen Fiz Dobbs put a halt to a close bond between her daughter Hope and Will Driscoll following his ordeal with groomer Megan Walsh.

In new scenes, Eva Price was happy for Will and Hope to be cultivating a friendship after being manipulated by Megan, but Fiz wasn’t as pleased that the two teens were hanging out.

As Will and Hope were studying for their English exam, she teased him about the plot of Romeo and Juliet they’d been asked to summarise.

“Star-crossed lovers,” Hope said. “You’d know all about that.”

When Will boiled down the gist of Shakespeare’s tragedy to “impulsiveness” and “people doing mad stuff”, Hope commented: “You’d know all about that an’ all.”

As she glanced over at him, Hope admitted she found Will cute.

“You’re easy on the eye. So shoot me,” she said, adding: “Don’t worry. I know I’m not your type.”

“How old do you think you’d go? D’you reckon a nana would do it for you?” she then teased him as the two of them laughed it off.

The two of them were unaware that Eva had been listening in on their banter. She was relieved to see that Will had made a friend, or potentially more.

Later on, downstairs at the Rovers, Eva had a conversation with Fiz about Hope “laughing her head off with Will”.

“Think it really cheered him up, you know,” Eva tentatively said, before asking Fiz if Hope’d had “many boyfriends”.

Fiz brushed the idea off, putting her foot in her mouth when implying that Hope wasn’t as “experienced” as Will.

“It’s alright, I get it,” Eva said to defuse the awkwardness and reassured Fiz she didn’t think Will was looking for a girlfriend at the moment.

“I would hate for Hope to be rushed into anything she’s not ready for,” Fiz said, adding that her daughter was “really young for her age”.

“I would just like her to keep her innocence for as long as possible,” she finally said.

While Fiz seemed “totally fine” with Will and Hope being just friends, she suggested that anything more than that would be a “big problem” for her and Tyrone.

“I think we should keep an eye on it,” she told Eva, who seemed hurt by her comments.
