The Young and the Restless (Y&R) preview video for the week of July 6-10 reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will come home to a terrifying shocker while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) heads back to the ranch after her hospital stay.
Y&R’s weekly promo kicks off with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) meeting with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), who admits he has no idea what his plans are moving forward.
Although Holden won’t know what his career’s going to look like, Cane will suggest maybe they can remedy that.
It looks like Cane and Lily will offer Holden a new position at Chancellor, so he may happily snatch it up.
As for Nikki, she’ll still have her eye bandages on when she’s released from the hospital.
It looks like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will insist on Nikki coming back to the ranch where things are familiar to her, especially since there are no guarantees with her eyesight situation.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will help Nikki make her way inside soon enough. Nick and Victoria will stay positive, but Nikki will remain worried about the possibility of her sight never returning.
The weekly preview video also features Kyle bringing Diane home to the Abbott estate after her ordeal at Dr. Laurence Markham’s (Jere Burns) house.
When Jack isn’t waiting by the door in the clip, that immediately confuses Kyle and Diane.
Although Kyle will consider the possibility that Jack stepped out to grab some sort of surprise for Diane, the truth will be far worse.
After Kyle and Diane hear a noise in the dining room, it looks like they’ll make their way inside and find Jack bleeding.
Jack should still be on the floor following Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) stab wound, so Diane and Kyle will end up reeling over this life-threatening news.
Patty may have already taken off by then, but you can bet Kyle and Diane will assume she’s to blame for Jack’s injury.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Jack will need an ambulance and some medical treatment ASAP, so stay tuned.
