The drama in Genoa City just reached a dangerous new level, and the fallout is going to be massive.

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, June 19, reveals that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to warn Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and the potential for disaster.

Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will also spy a close encounter that leaves her fuming, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

At The Shadow Room, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will cozy up to Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) as they reminisce about their art days.

Sienna will spot Audra putting her hand on top of Noah’s, so she’ll have a private confrontation with his ex.

As Sienna and Audra bicker over which one of them is jealous, they’ll take some jabs at each other.

Audra will point out that Sienna put Noah in danger with her Matt connection while Sienna brings up Audra’s buried Los Angeles secrets.

After Sienna makes it clear that Noah isn’t interested in what Audra has to offer, Noah will interrupt.

That’ll lead to Audra acting like she’s perfectly capable of interacting with Noah in a non-romantic way.

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will spot Audra making trouble and confront her out of fear that it could make trouble for him, too.

Of course, Audra will contend that Sienna is the real problem here.

At the GCAC, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will break down in tears as she opens up to Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) about Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) headaches and blurred vision.

Since Victoria will worry something is seriously wrong, Claire will guess that maybe her mom is jumping to the worst-case scenario because of what happened with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck).

Victoria won’t want to live in a world without Nikki in it, but Claire will offer a sweet pep talk.

Afterward, Claire will make her way to The Shadow Room for a date with Holden, which will lead to her finding him with Audra.

However, Audra will maintain that she’s not a threat and that Holden is all Claire’s.

At Crimson Lights, Matt will deny that he’s carrying out Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) agenda and will apologize if he’s coming on too strong by being an “Aristotle Dumas” aka Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) fan.

Matt will tell a fake story about working on the Kansas farm that belonged to Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) mom.

Cane will be skeptical as Matt talks about pitching in with the horses and eventually leaving to take care of his dad until he died.

Matt will play up that connection since Cane was also there with his father, Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers), in the end.

After Matt mentions contacting Adam for help and staying on the ranch, he’ll admit he’s looking for a whole new life.

Cane will still think all this sounds awfully suspicious, especially since Matt is laying it on so thick about being a fan of his.

Phyllis will eavesdrop nearby and ultimately pop up by Matt’s table with Cane.

Since Phyllis promised Victor she wouldn’t ruin his Matt plot, she’ll make it seem like they just met casually at the GCAC.

Cane will recall seeing Matt there, but Matt will point out that he was too busy to talk that day.

The fact that Matt knows Phyllis will add to Cane’s suspicions on Friday’s show, so he’ll basically push Matt to call him when he’s ready to get honest.

Once Cane is gone, Phyllis will admit she talked to Victor and agreed she wouldn’t ruin his plans for Matt.

That said, Phyllis will feel the need to warn Matt that this whole scheme could come back to bite him since Victor is a manipulator.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis will try to get through to Matt about Victor being a backstabber and all the disastrous news this could lead to.
