Sh0cking returns and unexpected alliances this week on The Young and the Restless.

The Young and the Restless weekly spoilers reveal Holden Novak (Nathan Owens)’s loyalty will pay off when Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) hire him at Chancellor.

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) can’t see yet, so Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) take her home to the ranch, while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) return home and search for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Key Highlights:

  • Lily and Cane decide to offer Holden a position at Chancellor.
  • Nick and Victoria guide Nikki home and make her comfortable.
  • Diane and Kyle return home and search for Jack.

A family company

The Young and the Restless weekly spoilers indicate Cane and Lily will continue to envision Chancellor as a family business and look to help others. With Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) already in Cane’s well-meaning crosshairs, they’ll turn their attention to his most loyal employee, Holden.

Holden’s had his world turned upside down and then righted again, and Cane and Lily will offer him the chance to set down real roots. With Holden’s family mostly in Genoa City, his sister will want to help him settle in, and with Cane’s company gone he doesn’t have a whole lot to do. They’re looking forward and building the company as they see fit and works best, but Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have a few things to say about it.

Not the home Nikki expected

Nick and Victoria haven’t been shy about their hope for their parents to get back together, and they’ll take matters into their own hands. Possibly without Nikki knowing, they’ll take her home to the ranch instead of her room at the GCAC or another house. Since she can’t see yet, Nikki will have to trust them. Unfortunately for her, that means they’ll place her in the care of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Or at least close to him since Victoria won’t want to leave her unattended.

It’s their way of forcing their parents to coexist and wear down, and it’ll work. After all, Victor has shown some miniscule growth and he always wins in the end.

Where’s Jack?

Diane and Kyle will return home expecting Jack to be waiting for them, but when he’s not there, they’ll start to wonder. In their minds, the nightmare is over, though there is still the police to call and Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) to take care of. Patty will be the one they’ll have to worry about as she stabbed Jack before they arrived.

Although, it’s possible they’ll make it home right when Jack is stabbed as they’ll hear a glass break, which could happen when Patty stabs him. It’ll be their best chance to save him since he was fading fast. Otherwise, Victor will win again and their family will be torn apart.
