The former glamour star was photographed at London Gatwick airport on Monday, wheeling a huge pink Juicy Couture suitcase alongside her long-time videographer and photographer Ben Algar — affectionately known to fans as “Big Ben,” who has become a fixture in her unfiltered daily social media updates.
Lee, currently incarcerated in Dubai’s notorious Al Awir Central Prison over what’s reported as a private civil matter, was scheduled for release Monday after paying a four-figure sum. On Tuesday, the businessman mysteriously re-followed Katie on Instagram, just one day after unfollowing her, adding another twist to the saga.
Katie, 47, kept her airport look casual in a grey fitted T-shirt and bright blue leggings, finishing her outfit with white trainers, Nike socks, and a cream handbag. Despite the drama, she appeared in good spirits, stopping briefly to shop and even pose with a toy plane.
The couple tied the knot in January, less than a week after meeting, and Katie has remained committed, keeping her massive diamond ring on as she prepared to face Lee in person.
