Just when Carl Webster thought the past was firmly behind him, a familiar face is set to return—and fans are already asking questions. 👀 Fiona Morley’s unexpected comeback has sparked fresh speculation, with many wondering what unfinished business she’s bringing back to the cobbles. Could long-forgotten secrets resurface, or is there an even bigger twist waiting around the corner? One thing’s certain: Carl’s world may be about to get a lot more complicated. 🚗✨

Coronation Street is set to bring back dodgy car dealer Fiona Morley as part of Carl Webster’s ongoing storyline. The character, played by Sara Poyzer, was last seen on our screens in September when she was embroiled in a stolen vehicle scheme with Carl.

Fiona, who was a former partner of Ronnie Bailey, was last seen in the show stealing a car from Kevin Webster’s garage.

The Sun reports that Fiona is set to return to the cobbles, with Sara reportedly having already filmed new scenes for the ITV soap.

Sara is no stranger to the world of soaps, having previously appeared in the likes of EastEndersCasualtyDoctors, and Crossroads.

The return news comes after Carl actor Jonathan Howard confirmed his character’s future on the soap after fans speculated he was gearing up to leave.

Carl has had a tumultuous few months and was a potential victim of the show’s most recent murder mystery, the victim of which actually turned out to be Theo Silverton.

Jonathan first sparked speculation back in February when he referred to playing Carl in the past tense during an interview on This Morning.

Then, he announced that he would be flying to the US where he had lived with his family before joining the cast of Corrie.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Jonathan explained how he tricked fans after accidentally revealing a spoiler in the show’s murder storyline, sharing that he had been filming upcoming scenes, which meant Carl could not have been killed.

“Well it is true that I’m going to America tomorrow morning!” Jonathan said at the time.

“[But] I do love the soap fans and the soap world. I’m not big into social media, but I have noticed that people are really intrigued to know. People like to guess and they like to find out. So I can have a little fun.

“I’m under strict instructions not to give anything away. But I have a short-term memory, so I sometimes post things that get me into trouble! So I have to cover that up a little bit…”
