The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 26, reveal that Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is in for a shock while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) does something risky for Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters) sake.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will also reunite with someone from his past, so some great stuff is coming up.
First, we should point out that TV Insider previously confirmed Lauren Koslow’s first airdate as a Jill Abbott recast would be June 25, but it turns out she’s not featured in that episode after all.
Since the show had to make some scene adjustments recently due to Y&R’s crossover with Beyond the Gates, maybe that threw off the schedule a bit.
Whatever the case, Koslow’s Jill is definitely in preview pics for this week.
SOD confirms Koslow will indeed appear as Jill before the week winds down, so her first airdate will now be Friday, June 26.
That means Billy will have an awkward reunion with his mother as Lauren Koslow temporarily takes over for Jess Walton.
Jill and Billy don’t always get along, but they’ve been trying to do better about that since Jill’s struggled with some health issues.
Will Billy and Jill manage to keep the peace during this visit or is more drama brewing?
At some point, Cane will face a curveball when he sees that Jill is back in town.
How will Jill feel about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) owning Chancellor and putting Cane on the throne?
Over with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), he’ll speak with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) at Society and may fill her in on the break-in plot that’s brewing.
Kyle proposed sneaking in Dr. Laurence Markham’s (Jere Burns) home to see if Diane is being held there.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) wasn’t on board with Kyle taking such a big gamble, but he seems poised to take the gamble himself.
However, Patty Williams’ (Stacy Haiduk) suspicions could be a problem.
Following Patty’s call to warn Dr. Markham about the potential for Jack to show up, Jack and Kyle’s plan will come with some surprises.
Kyle will refuse to let Jack deal with all this on his own, so they’ll join forces and risk Patty’s wrath when it comes to their bold moves.
Over with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox), she’ll pitch an intriguing project that she thinks Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) should be part of.
Will Nate cave in and potentially take a step back into medicine?
At the hospital, Victor will discover something that catches him off guard about Nikki’s medical condition.
There’ll be some new details regarding Nikki’s diagnosis that stun Victor and hit him hard.
