Stacey Solomon has finally spoken out about the ongoing rumours surrounding her marriage to Joe Swash — and her response was as honest, funny and refreshingly real as fans might expect.
The much-loved TV personality, 36, has faced months of speculation that her relationship with Joe could be under strain. From time away from social media to being spotted without her wedding ring, fans have been watching closely and wondering whether the couple’s fairytale family life at Pickle Cottage was facing trouble behind closed doors.

Speaking on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast, the spin-off from her hit BBC lifestyle series, Stacey opened up about the pressure of living in the spotlight while trying to protect a normal family relationship
“Who cares if the whole world is like: Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce?” she told host Dilly Carter.
For Stacey, the most important thing is what she and Joe know to be true — not what strangers online choose to believe.
She explained that being famous can create noise around a relationship, but it does not necessarily create pressure between them.
“Being in the public eye I think creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship,” Stacey said. “Half the time what they’re saying… if we know it’s not true, who cares?”
Her comments come after weeks of renewed attention on her marriage to Joe, whom she wed in a beautiful ceremony at their Essex home in July 2022.
The couple, who have become one of Britain’s most familiar celebrity families, raise six children together. Stacey is mum to Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 13, from a previous relationship, and shares Rex, seven, Rose, four, and Belle, two, with Joe. She is also step-mum to Joe’s son Harry, 18.
But despite their warm public image, Stacey admitted their marriage is not always picture-perfect — and that, like any couple, they have their moments.
Sometimes, she said, she is completely smitten with Joe.
“Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to come home to see him,” Stacey confessed.
But in the next breath, she admitted there are also times when she needs space.
“Sometimes I’m like: Get out of my stratosphere — stay away from me!”
Rather than presenting marriage as flawless, Stacey described their relationship as something far more relatable.
“I think we’re just like any other couple!” she said.

Another detail that sparked concern was Stacey being seen without her engagement ring. However, she has also addressed that, explaining that she does not always wear her rings because she is worried about losing them.
Her social media break also drew attention, with some fans wondering whether it hinted at something deeper. But when Stacey returned to Instagram earlier this month, she simply shared a peaceful update from home, posting pictures of her children enjoying the sunshine.
“A slow April, in our little world,” she wrote. “Missed coming on here and chatting to you all, but had a lovely April shutting off from the world & just being. Hope you’re all ok.”
Meanwhile, Stacey and Joe’s family life has become a central part of their public brand, from social media moments and brand partnerships to their BBC reality show.
Reports had claimed filming for their family series was temporarily paused after tensions at home affected the schedule. However, filming has since resumed, with Stacey recently seen shooting scenes at Scotts Tulip Farm in Brentwood.
