No time to wait!
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest Nikki’s time is up and it’s either emergency surgery or she goes blind. She’s terrified at going blind, but her time is running out as there’s no doctor capable of doing the surgery in Genoa City. They’ll still try to help her, and while Nikki is taken for tests, Victoria calls daddy.
Victor will make some calls and do his magic. This will give Victoria some hope, but she’ll lean on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) when he arrives. She won’t know what to do and is as scared as Nikki. She’s never scene her so scared and that’s unnerved her more than she imagined.
To her relief, Victor will arrive and say he found the best surgeon in the country. They just have to wait and that will be the hardest part. Nikki won’t be as happy to see Victor when she returns, if she can see, but it will start to soften her approach to him.
Jack plays into Patty and Laurence’s hands
Jack will go over his plan with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and he’ll put his grand escape into action when Patty arrives. He’ll play her up with a kiss, and when she leaves the run he’ll run off to rescue Diane. Not the best plan in the world, and he’s going to have some issues at Laurence’s home when he get there.
A little more planning or tying Patty up would’ve been wiser, but Jack does like a challenge. He’ll have a fun one since Patty’s phone call will beat him to Laurence’s home. Laurence will be warned and waiting for Jack, and the pressure will be on Diane to save herself.
She’s been working Laurence hard, but she can’t get past finding Jack with Patty. Still, she hasn’t given up and asked for sleeping pills so she can sleep better. She may not have to worry about drugging the good doctor yet with Jack on the way. She doesn’t know that, and it’ll play into Laurence’s hands.
He’ll tell her Jack had Patty move in with her, so when he arrives, the doctor will let him see Diane. When she asks Jack about Patty, he’ll admit it. She’ll have one chance to trust him and let him finish, but she’ll want to lash out instead and wonder how far his betrayal will go.
