Danny Go! star Daniel Coleman has shared devastating news about his 14-year-old son, Isaac, confirming the teenager lost his courageous battle with an aggressive form of cancer.

Coleman, a father of two, announced on Thursday, May 21, that his beloved son had died following his diagnosis with stage 3 mouth cancer in December 2025. The heartbreaking news came just weeks after he had revealed that Isaac had been transferred to hospice care. Taking to Instagram on May 22, Coleman shared the tragic update alongside a photograph of Isaac and a black-and-white picture of the pair together.

“Isaac Daniel Coleman. 10/3/11-5/21/26,” he wrote. “Oh, my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process. But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I’m also filled with tremendous pride.

Isaac was just 14-years-old

“Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit…and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all. You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac!” he continued.

“Remembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort. Being your dad was the honour of a lifetime. I’m so proud of you, and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.” Coleman initially revealed his son’s cancer diagnosis in December 2025, acknowledging that due to his rare inherited condition, Fanconi anaemia, they had anticipated this outcome.

“We found out last week that Isaac has cancer in his mouth. TBD, we always knew this day was coming, as it’s a near certainty w/ Fanconi anaemia,” he wrote at the time.

“But it’s definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped and is still just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you’ve braced for it for years. Been getting lots of scand an we’re not sure yet how much it’s spread,” he continued at the time. “But for now, the plan is to try and remove the cancer surgically asap.”

Fanconi anaemia is an uncommon disorder affecting bone marrow and various bodily systems, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Sufferers face heightened risks of blood disorders and certain cancers, while the condition can also trigger physical abnormalities impacting organs and appearance.

Following the cancellation of his 2026 tour to support his son, Coleman provided a further update in April, revealing Isaac had been transferred to hospice care.
