1. Todd fears Summer’s situation is bleak

Todd speaks to Lisa following Ryan’s theory that Danielle could be responsible for Theo’s murder. Lisa confirms that there are no plans to pursue Danielle as a suspect because she has an alibi

When Todd returns to the prison visiting room to see Summer, he’s alarmed as she announces plans to plead guilty to manslaughter. Following Adam’s advice about a plea bargain, Summer has decided to stop fighting so that she gets the shortest sentence possible. Will Todd accept this?

2. Lisa drops a bombshell on Todd

Todd asks Lisa when he can have his phone back, presuming that it’s been kept as evidence since the night of Theo’s murder.

Lisa clarifies that the police didn’t seize the phone, which naturally raises the question of who might have it. And a flashback soon provides a new clue


3. Carl leaves Tyrone terrified

Tyrone hopes that he’s done the right thing by choosing not to tell the police about the recent incident at the garage – even though it could clear Summer’s name in the murder case.

He’s oblivious to the fact that Carl is already deeply suspicious after overhearing his secretive conversation last week. Carl confronts Tyrone at the pub, warning that it’s obvious the mechanic is hiding something and he intends to find out what!

4. Daniel’s return to school goes badly

On the day he’s due to return to work following his suspension, Daniel is touched when Bertie gives him a ‘World’s Best Teacher’ mug.

Daniel is optimistic about the day ahead, but the kids aren’t willing to let him forget about his connections to Megan. Lily reads out cruel posts from the ‘Truthteller2’ troll, before bashing into Daniel and breaking his mug. Jake also twists the knife by filming the chaos on his phone.

5. Megan returns at the worst possible time

Daniel hopes to drown his sorrows at the Rovers once he returns to the cobbles, but Sean refuses to serve him following advice from a concerned Adam

Shortly afterwards, Megan pops up at the precinct and Daniel spots her. With Daniel in such a volatile state, is Megan in danger?

6. Alya gives Leanne another warning

Idris continues to flirt with Leanne, who’s interested in seeing where their romantic spark will go.
