Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) is conflicted, Charity and Chas Dingle (Emma Atkins and Lucy Pargeter) are plastered and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) is put out in these brand new Emmerdale spoiler clips.
Laurel has found Ross Barton (Michael Parr) irresistible lately, and her heart utterly sings when he makes a declaration to Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) in the café.
Fully roped in to helping Charity solve her Dr Todd (Caroline Harker) problem, Chas, after a bottle of wine, agrees to a spot of burglary up at Home Farm. What could go wrong?
Meanwhile, Ross and Sam Dingle’s (James Hooton) secret dance lessons are starting to seriously irk Lydia, who’s feeling majorly neglected by her husband.
Yup, we’ve got a conflict between head and heart (and loins), a vino-fuelled home invasion and dance-based duplicity coming up this week in the Dales. Care for a preview?
Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) lambasts Ross for turning Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) down, explaining that she’s currently seeking solace in a bottle of pinot.
As Laurel squirms in her seat, Ross explains that there’s somebody else he’s interested in, and she battles to contain the smile threatening to break out and take over her face.
Left alone, she allows herself a moment of glee, but will her dalliance with Ross destroy her relationship with Gabby should it be exposed?
Every great plan starts with getting sloshed, right?
An incredibly inebriated Charity and Chas break in to Home Farm as loudly as possible before locating the safe. When Lydia discovers them utterly failing to bust it open, her Dingle sensibilities see her dispatch a grumpy Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) before she finds the chaotic cousins giggling on the floor.
Ross gifts Sam a piece of clothing to help him channel his inner dancer, but before Sam can complain about the ripeness of the garment, an unimpressed Lydia interrupts.
Fed up of missed calls, texts and date nights, Ross’ attempts to smooth things over for a lunch date for them are all for naught when Sam shirks the opportunity, planning another dance lesson, leaving Lydia even more narked off.
Will Sam’s secret efforts pay off, or will Lydia be too far gone to appreciate his fancy footwork?
