Itâs a pivotal episode for Coronation Streetâs murder mystery tonight, with not one but three major revelations to keep us all guessing over who killed Theo Silverton.
Tyrone Dobbs is still up to no good, Sarah Platt could have betrayed her partner Kit Green, and Theoâs shifty ex-wife Danielle also has something to hide.
Here, we break down the latest dramaâŠ
1. Tyrone has a secret accomplice
Tyroneâs been acting strangely over the past week after refusing to back up Summer Spellmanâs story over her movements on the night of Theoâs death.
Summer has revealed that Theo was alive when she left his flat following a frightening showdown between them that night. This checked out, as we saw it for ourselves in flashback scenes, but Tyrone has mysteriously denied seeing Theo staring out of the upstairs window when Summer rushed off.
In tonightâs episode, itâs clear that Tyrone feels terrible as he hears about Summer being held on remand thanks to his lies.
He later makes a secret phone call, telling the person on the other end: âApparently Summerâs in a right state. Thatâs on us. Weâre putting her through hell. We need to meet up soon â and we need to talk about what happened on the night Theo died.â
So, who is Tyrone talking to? It certainly sounds like this mystery person is pulling all the strings by influencing Tyroneâs decisions.
Expect more trouble for Tyrone next week when troublesome Carl Webster realises that heâs hiding somethingâŠ
2. Sarah and Gary are keeping a secret
Gary Windass recently dismissed his wife Maria Connor when she seemed uneasy over his closeness to Sarah, but it looks like she was right to be worriedâŠ
Thursdayâs episode sees Sarah sneak into the Platt house to have a discreet phone conversation with Gary, whoâs one of the main suspects in the murder.
âGary, listen to me, I promise you â youâre not on your own with this, okay?â Sarah explains. âYouâve always got me.â
Sarah hangs up abruptly when Jodie Ramsey comes down the stairs, clearly delighted after overhearing this furtive conversation.
âWhat are you doing having secret conversations with someone elseâs husband?â Jodie taunts. âI know you two go way back, but I had no idea you were still an item.â
Sarah firmly denies any suggestion of an affair, but Jodie is not convinced. Are Sarah and Gary getting closer again and betraying their other halves â or keeping secrets over Theoâs demise?
3. Danielle was lurking on the night of Theoâs death
There are fireworks at the Bistro as Danielle returns to accuse Todd Grimshaw of killing Theo for a life insurance payout. Toddâs allies, including Christina Boyd and Mary Taylor, turn on Danielle after her erratic allegations â pointing out that she could be the one who killed Theo in the hope of some quick cash. What a mess!
Amid the chaos, though, itâs unlikely character Ryan Connor who could have crucial information to share.
After watching the argument from a nearby table, Ryan follows Danielle outside and accuses her of behaving suspiciously on the night of Theoâs murder.
Danielle points out that she was delivering the cake for Carla and Lisaâs wedding, but Ryan says: âYou stuck around, though, didnât you? Because your car was parked on the street for ages. Iâm just saying, you were in the right place at the right time, with more of a motive than anyone.â
Is Ryan onto something?
