It would appear not. Jodie has more lives than a cat, and when one scheme fails, she has another ready at the drop of a hat to worm her way out of trouble.
So, when she let too much slip in tonight’s episode, leading Daniel to work out that she was his online troll, Jodie reached back into her bag of tricks and zeroed in on another target.
Having been thrown out by Daniel, she headed over to the Platts’ house to work her magic on David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), once again bringing up their encounter on the night of the Connor-Swain wedding.
Viewers will recall that Jodie tucked herself into David’s bed, pretending to be his wife, Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), and later made out that David had come onto her.
Tonight, she continued that story, and managed to gaslight David into believing that he knew it was her, telling him that he’d said her name.

When Shona later invited Jodie to stay with them, David was clearly less than pleased, but he kept his mouth shut about the whole situation.
While Jodie has once again landed on her feet, the same can’t be said for Daniel.
Hurt by her betrayal and kicking himself for not realising sooner, Daniel headed to the Rovers to drown his sorrows, and when Jodie arrived, it all kicked off
As Daniel exposed her actions to the punters, Jodie feigned innocence, before running out in tears.
By the time Daniel got home, he was clearly worse for wear, and promptly collapsed on the sofa, leaving son Bertie unattended.

Hungry, Bertie attempted to make his own dinner, but ended up putting a metal tray in the microwave, causing the apartment to fill with smoke.
Thankfully, he got help from Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson), who arrived in the flat before anything could go seriously wrong.
With Daniel still unconscious on the sofa and the danger eliminated, an exasperated Adam left him alone, clearly unimpressed with how things had unfolded.
