Coronation Street fans are convinced they know who is tormenting Daniel Osbourne online, and he’s going to have to look close to home to find out who it is.

Daniel has been struggling since it was revealed that his girlfriend, Megan Walsh, had been grooming teenager Will Driscoll. He was at first quick to defend his partner following his own run-ins with Will, before having to face the truth of what Megan had been up to.

After pretending to leave Weatherfield for a break in the Lakes, Daniel has been seen striking up a friendship with Jodie Ramsey. After she let herself into his father, Ken Barlow’s, home, she discovered that Daniel was away and stealing Ken’s spare key, she was seen letting herself into his flat.

She was surprised to find Daniel inside, and he was even more surprised to see her there. While Daniel initially told her to go, Jodie managed to convince him to let her stay. He ended up opening up to Jodie about his ordeal with Megan Walsh, who has been exposed for grooming teenager Will Driscoll.

Jodie also opened up to Daniel, claiming that David came on to her and he had lied to Shona about it, telling his wife he’d mistaken Jodie for her, which Corrie viewers know is true. When Jodie eventually said she was going to leave and find a hotel, Daniel seemed to soften towards his home intruder and offered to let her stay the night, admitting he wouldn’t mind her company.

She’s since made herself at home, but Jodie will soon be back up to her scheming tricks as Daniel tells her she will have to leave now that his family know he’s back, as he’ll have his son, Bertie, back at home with him.

And almost like clockwork, Daniel has found himself facing more trouble during Tuesday’s (May 19) visit to Weatherfield. Heading the Roy’s Roll following its re-opening, Nina Lucas shows Daniel and Jodie some vile online posts, suggesting Daniel knew about Megan grooming Will and that he was once guilty of grooming Summer Spellman.

Daniel was rocked by the claims and will soon be seen going on a mission to discover who his mysterious online tormentor, ‘Truthteller’, is. But Corrie fans are already convinced they know who is behind it.

Is it her way of insuring Daniel needs her and will let her stay on in his flat. It’s not like she doesn’t have form for manipulation .#corrie.”

It comes after Corrie boss Kate Brooks revealed what’s ahead for the pair. She said: “An unlikely little friendship will be formed, which I don’t think many people see coming, but it’s a really different insight into what makes them both tick,” Kate told us. For the first time, Daniel’s able to be truthful about how he feels. And similarly, Jodie’s able to be quite truthful with Daniel, because he’s in quite a dark place. There are some interesting dynamics between them.”
